ASPM’verse Conference

Presented by Cycode

Impact

ASPM’verse quickly became a standout event in the AppSec space, drawing strong engagement across the security community. The branded identity and motion-driven system gave the conference a premium look and feel, setting it apart from generic virtual events.

Session recordings and post-event social clips sparked ongoing visibility, with repurposed content driving reach long after the live sessions ended. The event landing page saw significant traffic, while speakers and attendees amplified the experience across LinkedIn, extending Cycode’s presence in the conversation. Internally, the project was recognized for its creativity, speed of execution, and ability to set a new standard for virtual events. Externally, it reinforced Cycode’s position as the leader shaping the ASPM category.

Approach & Process

The creative direction for ASPM’verse focused on building an immersive event identity that felt larger than a typical webinar. Inspired by the idea of an expanding universe of security knowledge, the visual system featured orbital paths, gradients, and constellation-like patterns that conveyed growth, connection, and innovation, all rooted in Cycode’s AI-native brand language.

Motion became the centerpiece of the experience. Animated agendas, speaker reels, interstitials, and hero sequences created a dynamic rhythm that carried the event from start to finish. This modular motion system gave the campaign flexibility across formats while ensuring consistency, adapting seamlessly for the live platform, landing page, social teasers, and post-event content.

Supporting visuals and messaging were designed to balance authority with energy, using bold typography and futuristic gradients that reinforced Cycode’s positioning while keeping the experience approachable. By grounding everything in the ASPM’verse concept, the event achieved narrative continuity. Every asset, whether a live session opener or a social promo snippet, felt like part of the same connected world and reinforced the story of Cycode leading the ASPM category.

Challenge

Cycode set out to make ASPM’verse more than a virtual event. As the company’s third summit, it needed to signal a step change in scale, positioning Cycode as the ASPM category leader while showcasing its AI native platform.

The challenge was to design an identity and motion system that could support a four hour live program with ten sessions and twenty two speakers, all while feeling immersive rather than webinar like. Every asset, from landing pages to social promos and post event edits, had to deliver a premium, consistent brand experience under a compressed timeline with high visibility.

ASPM’verse was Cycode’s third virtual summit, with 22 speakers across 10 sessions exploring how AI, agentic workflows, and rapid delivery are reshaping application security. Themes included AI’s impact, context-driven remediation, and product security as AppSec’s future.

As Brand & Design Lead, I directed the event identity, motion system, and end-to-end creative delivery.

Lessons Learned

A consistent and immersive event identity not only elevated the ASPM’verse experience but also made it instantly recognizable across every channel. Motion played a key role in maintaining energy, driving attention, and making complex ideas feel more accessible and memorable.

Repurposing event content into shorter social formats extended the life of the summit far beyond the live broadcast, amplifying reach and ensuring ongoing community engagement. Aligning early with stakeholders helped avoid production bottlenecks, while building a modular system allowed for speed without sacrificing quality. Ultimately, ASPM’verse proved that strong creative direction can turn a virtual conference into a branded experience with lasting impact.
